The new CDM 09 GSM has been designed as an alternative to the standard gooseneck microphone as well as for telephone operation. This dynamic microphone can be mounted either to the left or right of the driver’s seat.
In addition, the microphone can also be easily swivelled 90 degrees upwards or 30 degrees to either side, thus providing optimum adjustment to the driver’s individual body size and arm reach.
The microphones can be used with a BOSCH Coach Audio bus system to enable the driver to make announcements (separate on/off switch must be installed)
A further advantage is that when an incoming telephone call is detected, the Bosch Professional Line automatically switches to telephone operation in the cockpit, whereby the speaker integrated into the base of the microphone ensures that only the driver hears the telephone ring and the caller’s voice.
To further optimise the telephone operation, the position of the speaker’s sound emission opening to the microphone capsule corresponds to the distance from the mouth to the ear.
