The WaveOnRoad is Wavecom's ruggedised onboard gateway, built specifically for the demands of buses and coaches — constant vibration, wide temperature swings, and the need to keep passengers, drivers and fleet systems all connected reliably.
Beyond passenger Wi-Fi, the WaveOnRoad connects and powers the systems fleet managers rely on day to day — CCTV, ticketing machines, passenger information systems (PIS) and a branded captive portal for passenger engagement — all through a single connected gateway rather than a patchwork of separate devices.
